I made my first clicks in the digital world in the early 2000s (probably earlier than that) as a blogger then moved on to being an early adopter of all things digital. Finding a "new shiny toy" is what I love to do. Whether it be a new web tool, gadget, game, or the latest craze online, I'm sure to try it out.
Even during my corporate days in the outsourcing industry, I always had time to write, learn and take on different projects. A serial experimenter.
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs so it was natural for me to see opportunities. I managed a few companies in my time. A design and desktop publishing firm, to web development, branding and virtual events.
My pioneering spirit led me to introduce the concept of webinars in the Philippines back in 2008. My passion for virtual events has earned me the nicknames "Webinar Girl" and "Virtual Business Educator".
I also love games. Fascinated with how it changed people's behaviour. It wasn't just about the game play but how it was designed. My calling as a sharer of knowledge happened when I wrote game guides, walkthroughs and reviews for
Gamezebo
back in 2010. I was curious enough to be certified in Gamification Design for business.
I'm also a Hootsuite Ambassador for New Zealand and a past committee member of the Social Media Club Auckland (SMCAKL) team where I support the events by being a host (Emcee) of at least one event per year. Past events at SMCAKL: Socialise your Boss & Let the Games Begin.
As an organiser of the NZ Bloggers Network, I've hosted monthly meetups in Auckland and Blog Consultations for bloggers.
I currently manage Conversologie, a digital consulting agency, partnered with global brands Hootsuite, ActiveCampaign and ManyChat. I work with small to medium sized organisations, marketing agencies and professionals, and startups to transform their potential within the digital space.
I do this by providing actionable insights when analysing reports, recommend strategic next steps and training.
I love to share my knowledge and get ecstatic when people and organisations get better at what they do. I've done this online, in a classroom at universities and workshops, and a conference. This is my happy place...which is why the latest project I've just launched, The Conversologist Lab is the closest to my heart.
